I hereby share some of the insights into the visualized data of Customer segmentation from Customer Segmentation Dataset (kaggle.com)

Income Distribution by Category:

  • Electronics: 54%

  • Home & Garden: 24%

  • Sports: 13%

  • Clothing: 9% Purchase Behavior:

  • Electronics has the highest purchase count.

  • At the age of 24 the spending is high who have less than or equal to 5-year membership cards Gender Spending:

  • Males spend more than females.

  • Electronics sales are 100% male, while Clothing is 72% female. Age and Membership's Impact

  • Average age decreases from Electronics to Clothing.

  • people aged above 26-27 spend more on sports items and those below 26 spend more on clothing

  • people who have had membership for less than 5 years spend more money than higher year of membership holders

This report provides insights into customer behavior patterns, which can inform business strategies.


My Business Insight: From this report, I found that membership holders who have more than 5 years spend less compared to short-term holders. so I feel if we give some special offers to long-term subscribers it will increase their spending and frequency of purchase also it may motivate short-term subscribers to upgrade to a higher period of short-term membership.
